Twitter has unveiled its official new and much awaited “Tweet button” today.
It lets your readers to share your posts simply by clicking it. When you click on the Tweet button a tweet box will appear. If you are already signed in on your twitter account it will automatically add a shortened link. All you have to do is add your message and hit tweet.The count of the tweet will increase each time a link is shared
If you have your own website then you can add the button by pasting the short HTML code which is customizable. To get the code , follow the link : http://twitter.com/goodies/tweetbutton
To enable the button on your wordpress.com blogs, go to “Appearance > Extras” menu and select the “Show a Twitter Tweet Button on my posts” option. Additionally, each time a reader tweets your post, you’ll know it: The tool keeps a live tally of tweets, so you’re never in the dark about how your blog posts are performing in the Twittersphere.
Now hoping for a Facebook button as simple as this.
